Dr. Lyons has both quantitative and qualitative research experience teaching on the faculties of Rutgers University (sociology and social research), Valparaiso University (sociology) and the University of Florida (teaching market research at the Department of Marketing), and previously working as a senior level researcher for Gerber Baby Foods, Miles Laboratories and Response Analysis in Princeton, New Jersey.
Dr. Lyons has also been the statewide evaluator regarding female students and the math and sciences for the state of New Jersey, program evaluator for the University of Florida College of Nursing, as well as program evaluator for tobacco prevention and control curricula in public school systems in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, California, Illinois and Florida. She also was a consultant and researcher for the Florida Tobacco Pilot Program headed by the University of Miami and the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. As President of
PMR, Dr. Lyons has conducted a wide range of studies for local,
state and federal agencies, community organizations, universities,
businesses, and non-profit organizations. She is involved in every
phase of research as a methodologist, statistician and analyst, and
oversees all quantitative survey research and qualitative focus
group and in-depth interview research.
Mr. Lyons is an experienced research professional and an expert in overall project development, coordination, and management. He has experience in marketing, market research, evaluation, and market-based social research, working as an enumerator and field supervisor for the U.S. Census Bureau and as the senior marketing officer for several firms.
Mr. Lyons brings an in-depth knowledge of public behaviors, consumer motivations, and attitudes. He has developed successful campaigns to raise
awareness of public and industry issues,
conducted training seminars, and conceptualized and conducted market and social research projects in a variety of areas including businesses, government agencies, universities and service organizations. As Vice President, Mr. Lyons has coordinated complex projects locally, statewide and nationally including numerous hospital and HMO healthcare studies, health behavior studies, a municipal annexation study, an analysis of opinions of homeowners and businesses, membership studies, patient and physician satisfaction studies, transportation/highway safety, travel, tourism, and social
market research studies.
Ms. Anderson is an experienced social and economic researcher, born in New York City and raised in Palm Beach, Florida.
She received her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Food and
Resource Economics and Agribusiness at the Institute of Food and
Agricultural Sciences (IFAS) at the University of Florida. While
attending UF, Ms. Anderson was involved in the Minority Business
Society, the Black Graduate Student Organization, Zeta Phi Beta
Sorority, and Alpha Zeta Honorary Fraternity. She was also awarded
the Multicultural Student Leadership and Scholarship Award.
Working
closely with Dr. Lyons, Ms. Anderson conducts both basic, multivariate,
and PerceptiMetrics®-based analysis. Ms. Anderson oversees data
management from beginning to end for all projects, assists in developing questionnaires, programming questionnaires into CATI, and generating data tables and compiling data reports for analytical interpretation in ASCII, SPSS, SAS, WORD, EXCEL, and other formats. She has most recently worked on survey research for the nationwide Obesity survey for the University of Indiana, Florida Department of Health statewide Tobacco Prevention and Control and Closing the Gap Evaluation Research, the statewide Minnesota Institute of Health/South Dakota Department of Health Tobacco Prevention and Control Pilot Program, statewide transportation safety study, and statewide behavioral gambling study for the McKnight Brain Institute/UF College of Psychiatry, and surveys of older workers for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation
Mr. Weber is the Nationwide CATI Telephone Survey Center Administrator. Mr. Weber has conducted a broad range of survey projects, supervising both short and long telephone interviews (5-60 minutes). He is proficient in both CATI and pen and paper interviewing. He manages 35+ telephone stations with a staff of 6 supervisors (2 bilingual) and a crew of up to 100 interviewers, including up to 25 Spanish-speaking interviewers.
As the CATI Telephone Survey Center Administrator, Mr. Weber has broad experience in supervising quantitative survey research projects for an extensive range of organizations, including research firms, state agencies, universities, municipalities, social organizations, hospitals and healthcare organizations. Recent surveys have included statewide tobacco prevention and control research for the Florida Department of Health, Medicaid survey for the Florida Agency for Healthcare Administration, research for a nationwide health insurance company targeting ethnic communities throughout the U.S., survey research on minority businesses for the State of Maryland, Department of Transportation, a national alcohol behavior study, a nationwide study for National Public Radio, University of Colorado youth and adult cohort surveys, and health-prevention behavioral surveys for the Minnesota Institute of Public Health and South Dakota Department of Health, and a nationwide survey of Home Healthcare Agencies and older workers, Colorado Kids Voting survey, and the Indiana University nationwide obesity survey.
